Question: Should I put ceramic or semi metallic brakes on the above car.

I have to have new brakes on 2009 Mitsubishi Galant 4 Cylinder & I am not sure what type is the best to put on.

    What type of Rotors are you installing?

    I didn't know I would need rotors. As you can tell not very knowledgable about cars. Should I replace the rotors also? Sorry

    Regardless I would Use Ceramic. And for rotors if the rotors are warped or rusted I would change.

    Factory parts are worth the difference. If not , get rotors that 'match' the pads. Ceramic pads can be good if used with rotors made for use with them.Don't get parts at the bargain store , you'll pay more in the long run. .....NEVER MIND ..just saw I'm a month to late sorry.
