2007 Acura MDX Question: Should I buy an Acura with high mileage?

Question

I've been wanting to buy Acura MDX for a long time. I'm looking for a good deal. My concern is high mileage.
Would anyone feel safe to buy MDX with high mileage? aprox. 75K+ or 90K+? Or should I be concerned that I will spend a lot of time at a shop fixing stuff? Thank for your answers.

I have a 2003 MDX that I purchased new. I change the oil regularly and the transmission fluid and rear differential every 50k miles. Other than a starter that I replaced at 75k miles, I have done nothing other than breaks and tires. The only service I did was the 100k service (timing belt, water pump and 1st tune-up). I now have 176k miles and it runs great. I take long trips often and everyday to work. I am going to replace shocks and bushings and hope to get another 100k before getting a new one. I would certainly not hesitate to buy the car you are looking at.

I have an '01 that I bought used in '04 when it had 50k on it. It now has 166k and runs great. I did the 105k service, and regular oil changes and wear out items like brakes, but other than that, nothing. My mechanic says I should have no problem getting 250k out of it. I'll also add, that the leather interior has held up beautifully as well. It's not that cheap leather that gets worn through. Even the driver seat, still looks perfect. I love my MDX.

I have a 2005 MDX with 82,000 miles. I change the oil and transmission fluid regularly so the engine runs great. I replaced brakes two years ago and two tires last year. This summer I replaced the other two tires and got new brakes. I will say that it is suggested to get factory brakes and or rotors. I have taken the car back to Big 10 tires twice on this last go around as the brakes crystalized very quickly. We are up and down hills in stop and go traffic all the time so the brakes are heavily used. My black Touring MDX with tan interior, DVD in both headrest, roof rails and Thule (car carrier) is for sale $18 - $19,000 if you would like to buy it. I am the original and only owner. I leased then purchased.

I have an 03 with 149k miles. As long as you naintain them they are great. I'll be pushing for 300k miles and the interior still looks like new.
