My 323i 2000 has been shifting intermittingly when I drive it. I never know when it will down shift. What is up with this?

    Many possibilities when it comes to automatic transmission shifting issues, you will want to check and be sure the fluid level is OK, then check for any diagnostic codes in the transmission control module. This may need to go to a good BMW shop, or a transmission shop. I suggest looking for a good independent shop, and look for the ATRA associated shops: http://bit.ly/ATRA_Info
