This is limp-in mode. Run codes to find out what the problem might be. If the OverDrive light blikks, it is transmission related. You can check some codes by doing the following.Turn the key ON - OFF - ON - OFF - ON within 5 seconds. The check engine light will blink. Count the blinks. There will be a longer blink between numbers. Write the numbers down and check what the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) indicates. Look up the MIL code not the HEX code. 55 is the end of the codes. Repair manuals have this prosedure and codes in it. If this dosen't produce results, yo will have to take it to the shop for professional code check. It checks real time sensor results. It costs $$$ because the tester costs $8,000 - 12,000 to buy and another $1,000 for updates.

I'm getting this too and a friend of mine used his hand held to get the codes that were flagging. It showed codes P0605 (PCM) and P0700 (TCM). I've read elsewhere that I should get PCM changed. Where would this be located and how hard is it to change?
