shift solenoid on 2005 Honda Accord

car was scanned and came back problem with shift solenoid a. need to know where it is located and how to fix.

The shift solenoid is located at the gear shift lever, check fuses and that the brake light switch works and sends power to the solenoid when the brake pedal is pressed car is in Park. The center console has to be removed to get at things to test. Its not complicated to check/test. There is a company that independent auto repair shops buy their information from that the same information inexpensively to do it yourselfers. The information is year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
