the shift cable isnt too bad to replace. I bought the used shift cable ($9.00) at a pick and pull salvage yard. my suggestion is get the part from one of these places and remove it your self and learn all the tricks about the cable. I can give you a few clues you have to pull on the the cable from inside the van to remove. put a mechanical wire on the other end so you dont have to have a hard time putting the new cable in. email me if you want email@example.com - Visitor
The van will not shift into park or any other gear. It shifted fine going and coming back just when I went to put it into park.
