Sherwood Auto Repair is a family owned, independent automotive service provider that has served the Sherwood, Tualatin, Tigard, Lake Oswego, and Wilsonville/West Linn areas since 1986. We are proud to be ASE certified and members of the Northwest Automotive Trades Association. We service and repair all makes and models of cars and light trucks with specialty areas including, but not limited to, Land Rover, Mini Cooper, Volkswagen/Audi, Subaru, Jeep, Toyota/Lexus, and Honda/Acura. Sherwood Auto Repair
I have had very bad experiences with different repair shops and dealerships over the years and with different cars. A friend from work recommended Scott at Sherwood Auto Repair so I called. I had an oil leak from the engine of my Accord. They inspected it and found that the crankshaft seal was leaking. Norma explained that the repair involved a timing belt replacement, which I had just had done 6 months earlier at another shop! We looked at the previous invoice and found that all they did was the timing belt. Norma and Scott explained that the rubber in the seals and water pump break down over time and should be replaced at the same time as the timing belt to avoid breakdowns. They took care of my Accord and provided me with a 2 year/30,000 mile warranty. It cost more than the first shop, but the warranty is twice as long and they explained what and why. I even got a follow up call to make sure was ok and a Christmas card! I didn't think this kind of service existed anymore. I want everyone to know how great they are.
