just bought this car. i was going 55 and it started shaking, like a stutter, while going uphill and a little after that. it didnt feel like the wheels, more like the engine, but i could be mistaken. the check engine light is not on, but the abs light for the brakes is on, the brake light itself is not. any idea what this may be?

It sounds like your 1993 Buick LeSabre may be suffering from an engine misfire caused by the ignition system, most likely a failed spark plug or spark plug wire. The ABS light is on due to a fault with the Anti-lock Brake System. Fault code(s) stored in the ABS control module will need to be retrieved, diagnosed, and repaired in order to get your ABS system back in working order. If you do not know how to properly diagnose the ignition or ABS systems please seek professional help.
