Question: shake when brake is applied

Question

Visitor, 1.5L 4 Cylinder, Barco, NC, September 27, 2010, 11:29

I keep having a re-occuring problem with shaking when the brake is applied. Have had the rotors replaced then turned and this time the problem only stayed away for a day. What else could be wrong or what might make the rotors be a problem?

Sticky pads could overheat your discs and they will be warped over and over, especially when you resurface them and the discs will lose thickness.
Get the caliper guide pins and pistons checked, make sure they are lubed and moving freely, use good quality brake pads (the most expensive does not mean it's the best), check the runout of the hubs. You might need to replace the rotors also.
