Shade Tree Garage
I recently brought Shade Tree an antique car I was planning to purchase. They evaluated it and gave me a complete written report on the condition of this vehicle. Based on their recommendation, I purchased it and had the repairs done. The car is wonderful and has operated perfectly. I feel Shade Tree Garage is an extremely reliable operation and would not hesitate to continue my servicing with them.

I HAVE BEEN USING SHADE TREE GARAGE FOR MY CAR REPAIRS FOR OVER 20 YEARS, INCLUDING A COMPLETE REBUILD OF A BMW ENGINE YEARS AGO. THE SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING; THEY COULDN'T MAKE IT MORE CONVENIENET. THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND APPROPRIATELY PRO-ACTIVE IN ASSESSING NEEDED REPAIRS. I WOULD NEVER USE ANYONE ELSE.

Shade Tree Garage is an extremely clean facility with friendly service. Took my car there for a look over and they gave me a list of items that needed to be fixed or serviced. They then took care of the list of items and even gave me a car to take to work so they could have the car for the day!!! Sold the car 6 months later and the buyer took it to their mechanic and he didn't have any repair work that needed to be done...sold as is.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience with this particular repair shop. I brought my vehicle with the understanding that there would not be a charge to check the vehicle over and diagnose the problem. Not only was I charged despite my objections, the diagnosis turned out to be incorrect and there was a vaccuum line that was broken in the process of their checking it over, they did fix it but tried to blame another mechanic for it. as I subsequently went to another shop where it was properly diagnosed and repaired. I also had a friend who brought in a vehicle and he was charged over $200 dollars to have the tranmssion fluid changed which did not correct the issue he was having. He was told that it may not correct the issue but $200 is alot to pay for a transmission service on a bottom of the line Chevorlet. And that was at least 5 years ago, price is probably higher now.

I have been going to John since I have belonged to BNI. The quality of their work is very professional and they know what they are doing. The customer service is excellent and I would not go to anyone else but Shade Tree. My car is so important to me and I know I have piece of mind when Shade Tree Garage takes care of it. Shade Tree Garage is an absolutely outstanding repair shop. John and his team are diligent about addressing every issue quickly and correctly. You can expect an expert opinion and quality work. I also appreciate the fact that Shade Tree Garage does not try to charge you for miscellaneous expenses unrelated to your problem. I respect their professionalism and recommend them to anyone in need of automotive work. Oh yes, one more thing, John’s fleet of “loaner” cars definitely helps when you’re in a bind. Thanks again.

This is a fabulous shop. They take the time to explain what repairs they would like to perform on the car and why. This is the sixth car that Shade Tree Garage has taken care of and I wouldn't take my care elsewhere. They truly give me a "road worthy" vehicle - excellent service and repairs.
