  The shop is clean and nicely decorated, and their customer service is generally good. However, in my experience (now a couple of years old), ever since Ron's son took over for him, no matter what you brought your vehicle in for, you invariably got it back with something else wrong--so that the ultimate repair cost several times what the work you really needed should have cost, and there was no forewarning.(The "additional problems" discovered weren't anything you suspected might be wrong; they "just happened.") When the bill is repeatedly hundreds of dollars more than you anticipated, it's time to find a new mechanic.

  I sincerely hope that things are better there now. People need to be able to rely on their local small businessmen, especially in the kind of economic climate in which we're all forced to live. "An honest day's work for an honest day's pay" is a maxim by which all of us should live. I've since gone elsewhere, and can once again relax and trust my mechanic to do only what's needed, and ask my approval before he does so.
