I have been getting a service light "Service Traction System". It is making it's groaining noise about every time I apply the brakes. I have eliminated the problem by turning off the traction system. What could be the problem and the expense to make the repair? Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you may have a wheel speed sensor/hub causing the antilock brakes to activate. This in turn can cause the traction light to come on. You need to have a shop check the history and current codes in the system to correctly diagnose the problem.
