Question: Service Eng light and Wrench "limp home" light on

Service Eng lite & Wrench "limp home" lite came on and truck stalled. It re-started right away & engine runs normal but the lites were still on or the same but when put in gear, it barely moves(limps along very slow)no matter how hard the gas ped is pressed. Reverse seem'd to work fine. Shut it off, tried again and I was able to get it 1/2 mile home normal speed. Gas cap is tight. Once I got it home, I let it sit 30 min's and then it restarts but only Serv.Eng lite is on now. I did not drive it for fear of breaking down again.

    The next thing to do is take it to a shop and have them pull the codes and diagnose accordingly, or get the codes yourself and post them and we can give you some information about what is happening and what you can do.
