2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS500 Question: Service D

 Rookie

I have 36k miles for my 2006 MB CLS 500. I have exceeded my service by 4400 miles. I have to make an unexpected trip totalling 700 miles. Is this a good idea or should I rent a car?

    It is never good to delay or skip the service intervals, but in your case just change engine oil and the oil filter and you are good to go. For your car model and year I would recommend to see a professional technician for oil change (deealership or a known technician)Yoy are gonna need 8 Quartz of Mobil 1 synthetic 5W-40 oil.

    Oil is not 5-40 like the reply said but 0-40 Full synthetic. 8"quarts"
