Question: Seems to be out of gas but not

Question

My car will turn off while I am driving or at a stop. Then when I am trying to restart it sounds as though it is out of gas but it has plenty. Replaced Fuel Filter and Fuel Pump. Still having problem. No Fuel Pressure & has spark. After about 5 to 35 minutes, it will start right up. HELP???

Hi! probably the distributor rotor need to be replaced. sama problem with me, although, I usually experience this is in the morning. I have to wait for 20-30minutes before it just starts at one click of the keys.

THANKS for answering. I actually found the solution. Buyt not until after I had already spent over $500 in replacing various parts (Fuel Filter, Fuel Pump). A Honda Mechanic told me that it could possibly be the FUEL PUMP RELAY. A few auto parts stores told me to replace the Main Accessories Relay BUT THAT IS NOT IT. It is the Fuel Pump Relay:
    MITSUBA - RELAY ASS'Y MAIN - RZ-0088 - 12V Japan
Dealer sells them for over $100
Got one that works great off eBay for $34
(This relay supposively tells the fuel pump to shut off automatically if the car gets in an accident)

I would replace the PGM-FI relay... its a master relay and It sends power to the fuel pump

Yes, I had actually had many people tell me to replace the Main Relay but told me it was found on the left side under panel of the steering column, They were wrong, that didn't help.
I replaced another Relay that was located right next to the steering column. It has been 10 months and still working great. MITSUBA - RELAY ASS'Y MAIN - RZ-0088 - 12V
