I had the jeep serviced and the guy said that stuff was dripping on the sensor causing the burning smell and smoke. Said that I should take it to a Jeep Dealer and get repaired. When the vehicle sits for 2-3 days and then I drive it- the first 5 minutes it smells and when I stop I can see a little smoke coming from the front of the vehicle. This has been going on for 2 months.
See smoke and smell burning from front of vehicle after it sits for days on 2003 Jeep Liberty

So, maybe take it to the Jeep dealer and get it fixed.

All i can do here is take a wild guess cant see the patrs!! Sounds like maybe the oil sending unit is leaking. Get a car buddy to LOOK at it for you. What engine do you have??? 2.4 or 3.7.
