I had the jeep serviced and the guy said that stuff was dripping on the sensor causing the burning smell and smoke. Said that I should take it to a Jeep Dealer and get repaired. When the vehicle sits for 2-3 days and then I drive it- the first 5 minutes it smells and when I stop I can see a little smoke coming from the front of the vehicle. This has been going on for 2 months.

All i can do here is take a wild guess cant see the patrs!! Sounds like maybe the oil sending unit is leaking.
Get a car buddy to LOOK at it for you. What engine do you have??? 2.4 or 3.7.
