MasterCheck your battery. Does it have at least 12.6 volts with the key out of the ignition and the lights off?

Visitor, September 02, 2010, 15:27Replyi used to hate it when our 02 impala did this...it happened every 5-6 weeks and always at the worst possible time...it does start up if you walk away from it for 10-15 minutes and come back...it is a security issue
to fix it i simply rebooted the computer....disconnect the battery terminals for about 20-30 minutes, reconnect and the system is back to specs....i havent had a problem since i did this over a year ago...Flag ThisLike0
