I have a 1994 Saturn that the electric slide in the door for both the driver and passanger side of stopped working. The driver side is in the reverse (latched) position and the passanger side is forward (can not be latched). What would be causing this and what would the repair and repair cost?

There not worth the trouble, had the same problem with mine and ended up causing a drain on the battery. Best result is to pull the fuse and use the seat belts manually. The fuse box will be on the right side of your console where the passenger legs fit, side cover. The fuse does illiminate a few minor other things, but nothing important. (Chime, Cig Lighter, Dome Light, something in that matter, not sure though.)

That does not resolve my issue, because the passanger side is stuck in the forward position and therefore can not be used. If the fuse also powers the cig. lighter the fuse is not the problem because it still works. Any other ideas as to why it does not work?

you could have pulled a wire loose or messed the motor up.
