Seat Belt Repair on 1993 Dodge Intrepid

My driver seat belt wont retract anymore and want to buy replacement but was wondering is it a do able thing?

It should be simple enough to replace the inertia seat belt real. I image some trim panels need to be removed but it should be straight forward (remove some screws or pry of some panels that are held in place with clips). Newer cars have SRS electrical connections that need a scan tool to reset if you try to replace with the ignition key on.
