Question: scraping and squealing noise

I have a squealing and scraping noise coming from the back of my BMW Z3. What could this be?

    Would help if you said what you were doing/driving when happens but first GUESS is brakes.

    If your driving my second guess is possible Cracked on one of your Brake Pads needs replacing, if your not driving check your shock and need to drive your Z3 often..
