Scottsdale Airport Autocare
I've been taking my Nissan Xterra to this shop for over a year now, and I've never felt as comfortable anywhere else. As a young woman, I have always worried that I was getting screwed at auto shops, you know? Not anymore though, cause I'll never go anywhere else! (Fingers crossed I don't have to move for work!...unless it's to the Caribbean, and I won't need a car then anyway :)
The first time I took my SUV here -- for a 100K service and a phantom noise -- I decided that I wasn't going to get screwed over this time. For the 100K, their prices were close to what I'd looked up online and the shop owner was so nice, so I felt pretty good about them.
But just to be sure, I got a second opinion from another nearby auto shop (who will remain nameless). For one, the other shop's prices were much higher (like they were actually charging me extra for having the ability to bear children!), and they also read me a laundry list of all this other stuff I "needed" too...my typical auto shop experience.
The techs at SAA also suggested additional repairs, but told me which ones I could wait on, and which ones were actually vital. They explained everything in a way that any average Jane could understand, and I felt confident that they were treating me fairly and honestly. And the bonus is that I actually feel more knowledgeable about cars now! So, I would highly recommend these guys to anyone! They are really the best, literally. :)
