Question: sbs light

sbs light came on after a sudden brake stop,buzzing sound even after car was turned off.battery was discharge next morning.car sitting in my gargage. it has 126,000 plus original miles. last time it was service for oil change it was recommend that the belts should have been changed at 120,000 miles. car ran fine before problem. I am 2nd owner since 2000.

Are you sure the light does not say SRS (safety restraint system). The SRS system involves the seat belts and air bags. If the warning light comes on the computer detects a fault that needs to be investigated.
