I am happy to recommend 405 Auto to family, friends and colleagues. Reason being is that I am always well taken care of here. I have been a customer for 5 years. The repairs are done correctly and finished when I am told they will be. My car is always washed and vacuumed, and that is a nice personal touch. The staff is honest, knowledgeable and friendly, and always greet me with a smile.

They failed to correctly diagnose problems with car. Said things were wrong on the car that were not and ried to replace expensive parts that are perfectly fine. Nice personalities, bad technicians, out to just make money.

Gearbox failure message on instrument cluster means that your transmission is in "Limp" mode and will have only second and reverse gear. You have to bring your Jaguar to specialty repair shop that will be able to scan transmission control module and retrieve error codes. There is many possibilities, from simple electrical problem like defective solenoid, sensor all the way up to worn / defective clutches causing incorrect gear ratio - slipping. In any case having warning light on dashboard, proper diagnostics is a key to successful and accurate repair.

Your Volvo has Aisin Warner AW55/50SN transmission that is known for problems. Usually, unless you have internal damage like burned clutched, band, cracked piston etc. there is a problem with valve body. If there is no error codes in transmission control module, valve body is causing delay engagement, harsh shifting, 2-3 flaring. Even if you buy new valve body from Volvo, it will not last very long. Valve body has to be modified with updates, then installed and adaptation to be performed, that is only way it will work correctly.

I strongly suggest to bring your Audi to specialty shop that will be able to diagnose the problem. Audi is very easy to diagnose if one has proper tools. There is several reasons why engine stalls while driving. Seems like you may have a problem with transmission range sensor too, as engine should start on Park and on Neutral. I'm sure you have "Check Engine" light on, there are error codes registered. I'd start there.

You most likely have engine oil leaking on exhaust manifolds or catalytic converters, oil gets burnt there thus you feel burnt smell. Also, you may have coolant leak as well, where coolant is leaking the same way as oil and gets burned around hot engine parts. You should bring your car to specialty shop that will diagnose shaking and burning.
Most likely you have problem with "conductor plate" that is causing transmission computer to put your transmission in "Limp" mode - only one gear forward (3rd) and reverse. Conductor plate has integrated speed sensors, one of them is defective. Usually replacing conductor plate takes care of both error codes (P0730 indicated incorrect gear ratio - in simple words "slipping" and may be result of no speed signal from speed sensors) if there is no mechanical damage inside.

I assume that you meant timing chain, not "time change". You may have camshaft timing incorrectly set. It is common mistake, your car has VANOS on intake camshafts, there is special procedure involved when replacing chain & timing components. If you did not have problem with cam sensor before, I'd suggest checking timing first.

From what you are describing it seems like fuel starvation. This car has 2 fuel pumps, low pressure and high pressure. When you release gas pedal, fuel pressure builds up then car goes fine again. I've seen that before, but since your car is brand new, Audi will have to repair that for you. Good luck!

It is common problem on all ABC equipped cars. Most of the time cause is lack of service as owners and most of repair shops does not have knowledge about how active body control system should be serviced. There is fluid and filter for ABC hydraulic system that should be replaced periodically and special procedure should be carried out at the time of service, that on most cases extends greatly life of whole system and especially the pump (it is called tandem pump that incorporates power steering pump and high pressure suspension pump in one body). ABC pump for your car is $2020 and to replace it it takes about 4-5 hours. Repair will also take 4-5 bottles of hydraulic fluid, ABC filter and "rodeo test" to bleed the system. We usually do height calibration at the same time.

Most likely you will have to replace torque converter, it is worn and lock up clutch is slipping. It is very common problem on 5HP19 transmissions.
