1994 Nissan Pickup (D21) Question: runs ok unless 2500 rpms or more

 

Question

Visitor, 2.4L 4 Cylinder, Smithfield, NC, March 19, 2010, 10:01

I have changed my fuel filter but when I get up to 2500 rpms my trucks starts spitting and sputtering bad and if I try to give it more gas completely loses power ? I was told it was my catylitic converter just wondering is ther anything else I could check other than this?

    i have the exact same problem with my nissan, i removed the cat and checked the fuel pressure and i still have the problem, did you ever figure out what the problem was???

    It may be your mass air flow sensor.

    I had same problem and changed my coil and Bam good as new!

    I HAVE HAD ALOT OF NISSAN HARDBODYS AND IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR EGR VALVE REPLACE IT AND YOU SHOULD BE FINE. IT WILL FINALLY GET WERE IT WANT RUN AT ALL.
