When pick up warms up it begins to run out of power. It sometimes misses and sputters like it is running out of fuel. If you push the accelerator to the floor it seems to clear up a little, then starts doing it again. I have replaced the coil, spark plug wires, fuel filter, fuel pump and fuel pump sending unit and fuel relay.

No exhaust restrictions. I checked all sensors according to the repair manual for resistance etc. That was until I got to the knock sensor. I was getting various codes after reading OBD1 flash's. One was 43, knock sensor. I looked high and low, researched every forum I could, up half the night until my wife said I was done going in and out of the house from garage to computer trying to find the knock sensor. This truck had a crate motor put in by myself and son. We placed everything from the old enging onto the new engine. The replaced motor never had knock sensor on it. I have located the dark blue wire and plug in for the sensor zip tied up to the starter wiring. The local parts store will have a new sensor in first thing in the morning for me. Hopefully this will be what is ailing the truck.
