running lights don't work on 2006 Saturn Vue

where is the daytime running light resistor located

Its a common failure the resistor is in the left front area of the car. One bolt going through it a black connector on it (its a little bigger than your thumb), a gray and a black wire in the connector.

Patrick do you know if the 2002 SC2 has a drl resistor and if so do you know where? will this cause the drl lights to flash repeatly and then go out? if so then are the flashes being caused by the high beams electrical circuit?
