Question: rumble strip type noise in left front

every so often at around 1800 rpms in acceleration, I hear what sounds like rumble strips in the left front. not during braking, and once above 1800 rpms, it is gone. this is both in driving straight and going around turns in both directions

    Noises are hard to diagnose even under ideal circumstances, without hearing the noise and seeing the car, it's really hard. If you can get the noise to occur consistently, go to a shop and see if you can get someone to go for a ride with you, and they can listen to it and possibly have some ideas.
