Question: vibration in drive

My car has a vibration when it's in drive with the brake on. It doesn't vibrate in neutral, park or reverse. It does seem to do it when I take a sharp left turn. I did have a rear-end collision in August, but didn't notice it until I took it home from the body shop. I'm afraid it might do more damage. So far I change two motor mounts and did a major tune-up, but that hasn't solved the problem.

Go back to the shop who did your mounts and have them put your car up in the air to make sure all is well. While it is up in the air, look it over to see if you can see anything that looks out of the ordinary. When was the last time you had a complete brake inspection? How much life is left on your pads and rotors? If you don't know, then you really should check them. Maybe your pads are down to metal? At first, they may only make noise in 1 direction, that is not unheard of.
