A great honest repair shop where the mechanics get the work done right and don't try to rip you off. The shop manager, Frank, was very friendly and personable. I took my car in for an oil change and new brake pads and was pleasantly surprised when they didn't try to con me into paying for more work than was necessary, and even fixed the bottom panel of my car for free. Frank explained the differences between my brake pad options and let me make my own informed decision instead of pushing the more expensive option on me. I highly recommended this place and can't imagine myself going anywhere else in the future.
THIS PLACE WAS FANTASTIC. THE MECHANICS ARE STRAIGHT FORWARD (KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT) AND GET RIGHT TO WORK. THERES NO HIDDEN WORK DONE, WHERE YOU LEAVE WITH MORE PROBLEMS THEN BEFORE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT, THEY KEPT ME INFORMED ON EVERYTHING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS REPAIR SHOP.
New in town lookinf for a new shop was time for my smog but had a check engine light on , took it to rt66 checked light found code seems i had an evap leak all it was was my gas cap , they did not try to sell me any other job or rip me off only got charged for my engine light diagnosis, will definetly return honest shop, great waiting room!!!!!!1
These guys are awesome mechanics! Very honest and informative about options available with your situation. They are not at all pushy and will definitely help you with finding the cheapest route that'll get you back on the road with your car running great again. The manager Frank is very nice guy that spent extra time showing me and explaining some of the broken parts that came out out of my car and that were replaced and how to avoid the issue in the future. To top it off, he wanted me to stop in again free of charge just to make sure everything was running fine. Definitely recommend this place if you want to make sure you're dealing with honest mechanics and get a great price for good quality work.
My husband has a 745Li and his power steering hose had a crack or hole in it where when fluid was put in it would all leak out in a matter of minutes, he took it to the dealer and they wanted to charge him an arm and a leg to fix it, so he took it up to route66 which is about 45min to an hr drive from my house and the owner i dont know his name but he is an older guy looked at it told him what the problem was and ordered the part told my husband it would take a day to fix however my husband was a lil hesitant because the owner said they had never fixed that particular issue on a 745 before and he didnt want something else to wrong but my husband went a head and let them fix it and im glad he did cuz the car is running perfectly fine with no leaks... This is a business you can trust does not try and get over on you and beat you out your money we will forever be a customer of route66 and did I mention it only cost a lil under $600 including parts and labor.
