Keep getting the famous comment that its normal! When it sounds as if a piston is about to shoot through the hood of my vehicle, I consider that abnormal! I have it documented 10 times, it is out of warranty however. No one would purchase a vehicle that they felt the need for a remote start, so that no one is in it when it blows up! Not talking about the engine, either! lol
On cold start up only the engine will miss badly for about 15 seconds and then smooth out.
It usually has a rough cold start almost as it is missing, it has done this since new.
And lately if I am in a hurry and just start and put it in gear and go it is definitely missing for about 20 seconds.
The dealer says it is within specs. Besides that it runs smooth and strong, gets good mpg.
