  took my car to them for a repair , got it bck and my emegercy break didnt work , as it worked fine when i dropped it off , they gave me a run around and then reused to fix if , i would never go back there again or recommend anyone to go there at all

  A friend of mine told me that he thought the transmission was slipping in my Volvo. My regular mechanic was on vacation, so I called Rosemont Motors, described the symptoms and asked if they could run diagnostics on the car to see if, indeed, there was a problem with my transmission. They told me, "absolutely", so I dropped the car off. They called me about 1.5 hours later, told me that they did a "drive test' (they did not run the diagnostics) and yes, it absolutely needed a new transmission. I said thanks, but no thanks, picked up the car (after paying $41 for their "drive test") and waited for my mechanic to get back in town. When he was available, I took it to him, he ran the actual diagnostics and pulled the codes; there was no problem with my transmission. Zilch. So rather than spending $3800 on an imaginary bad transmission, I now refrain from using my emergency brake as it seems to be sticking a bit. Bottom line: Rosemont Motors tried to rip me off. Stay away!
