when im driving the rear end has a loud roaring noise in drive and reverse the sound stops when im going to the right and when i drive straight its a constant roaring

I think the differential bearings are worn out and making noise. Get it fixed before the differential locks up or disintegrates while you're driving. This is a safety issue, if the diff fails while driving it would likely cause complete loss of control, except for the brakes, hopefully.
