2004 Mazda Mazda6 Q&A

2004 Mazda Mazda6 Question: reset computer

I had my alternator and battery replaced but my battery light keeps coming on. Should the computer be reset when the battery is replaced. If so, how do I reset the computer and where is it located on a 2004 Mazda 6? -
Answer 1
nope. you still have a charging problem. return to the installer and have them check the alternator output. the light indicates a problem. Roy -

Where is the alternator output located on the 2004 Mazda 6? Would the installer have to remove the alternator to find the alternator output? -
