Replacing the thermostat? on 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII

simple Q/A: Where is the thermostat located; What procedures to use to replace the thermostat; Auto Zone said to use the straight, not 50/50 pre-mixed antifreeze; Which type-gasket is best to use? What is the actual OEM for that thermostat because some thermostats do NOT fit that year/model lincoln.

www.alldatadiy.com is the best place to go.you will have to pay a little but it is worth it. Also buy a Ford T-stat and seal. The Ford part and seal will be the exact type that is required. It is worth it. I think your car has the nice 4.6 liter V8. Treat it right.
