Question: replacing the alternator belt

the belt has broken. is there 1 or 2 belts to be replaced. this car is manual transmission and a basic model. no air conditioning or power windows or locks.

    Need to know if has power steering. Typically only one alt belt or is a serpentine belt that runs everything.
