replacing temperature sensor for a 94 Ford Ranger

    What motor? Which temperature sensor, for the gauge or for the engine control system?Four cylinder motors have the sensor around the intake manifold on the driver's side of the motor. The V-6 it is around the rear of the motor.

    for the guage....where is it located? Is it the 2 wire switch mounted in-line of the heater hose?

    4 cyl 2.3 rear drive.heating system works verry poor. is it the heating coil.i changed thermostad and cooling but dont get warm just a litter 1 hour later. thanks
