i am guessing there is a lower radiator hose on my 2000 cadillac deville although it is hard to see. I am leaking radiator fluid from the lower right side (when looking at from drivers seat) of my radiator and i cant figure out how to check the hoses, any help would be appreciated, thanksB

Yes, your 2000 Cadillac Deville has a lower radiator hose but it is located on the left (drivers) side. It is also not uncommon for the radiator itself to leak. If you cannot readily see where the leak is coming from you may need to pressurize the cooling system using specialized equipment in order to determine the cause of your leak.
2000 Cadillac DHS Sedan DeVille, Mileage 124K. You have a main radiator hose connection on the driver's side and the passenger's side. You might also have a small hose connection on the lower right side (from the driver's point of view). What this hose is for is still under investigation because I wasn't anticipating this hose connection while replacing my radiator. This connection is not present on the replacement radiator I ordered so I might have to send the part back. Your leak might be coming from a hairline crack in the radiator's plastic housing, a common problem with these plastic radiators. This is what happened to mine and it makes a hissing sound when the system gets warmed up and produces steam thru that hairline crack. It's hard to see sometimes because of the large, black plastic cover which sits on top of the radiator and condenser and obstructs your view. You can remove this cover by pushing in the center of the plastic retainers and they should then come out. I think there were around 6 of these plastic retainers. Just discovered that my Cadillac has a water cooled alternator! Learn something every day.
