If you really want to do this job, get the best information you can, this is a very technical system and trying to repair it without the proper tools and info is asking for trouble. I just replaced mine really not hard. Dennis Ficken in Kansas will send you detailed instructions with pictures and will rebuild cylinders for a fraction of the cost for new ones. His number is (913) 390-0506. Found his name and references on benz world. Took about an hour to take them out and few days to get cylinders back and 2 hours to put them back in. Was alot easier than anticipated - don't often work on cars myself.
