1990 Chevrolet Camaro Q&A

1990 Chevrolet Camaro Question: replacing fuel injectors

I need to replace 3 bad fuel injectors in my car. I was told that I need to replace all 8 fuel injectors because they fire in certain sequence. Is it necessary for me to replace all 8 fuel injectors? -
Answer 1
On my own car I would probably replace only the failed injector but several times on customers cars when we have replaced only one or two injectors inevitably in a sort period of time another injector fails. We just had to replace all the injectors on a Nissan 300Zx that had previously had two other injectors fail at different times in the last 14 months, and had a Dodge last year that when we replaced one injector another one failed a few months later. I guess the same dirt that "killed" one injector was in the fuel rail and would go through all the injectors. Don't forget to change the fuel filter. -
