The humming noise while turning is a good indication that the wheel bearing is the problem. Be sure where the noise is truly coming from, this can sometimes fool you. If you are thinking of repairing this yourself, you will need heavy duty tools and possibly air tools. Your vehicle is most likely a 4x4 with ABS and there will be a lot of things in the way. Being in PA. you're going to have to deal with rust most likely. Because of all these things, you may want to take your vehicle to a well equipped repair shop that you trust, and purchase a good brand name bearing.
