Rookie

Would it save money to replace the clutch assembly at the same time as the timing belt and water pump? My PT has 102000 miles and already replaced the clutch at 50,000. My repair location has recommended replacing the Timing Belt and Water Pump.

I hate replacing components without having reason, but believe in preventative maintenance. Are you presently experiencing any signs of clutch problems? I believe it is a 7 hour job to replace the timing belt and water pump, and about 3.2 hours to replace the clutch but there isn't a duplication of labor.
