On a 4 wheel drive Jimmy the rotors should come off without removing the center nut from the hub. If the rotors a stuck on the hub due to rust and debris it may be necessary to strike the flat part of the rotor between the wheel studs sharply with a hammer the break them loose. On 2 wheel drive models the adjusting nut for the front wheel bearings is not tight enough to worry about a special socket. You can remove the adjusting nut using standard pliers.
