replacing a fuel pump on 2005 Hyundai Tucson

What exactly is the acurate procedure to replace a fuel pump, along with the fuel filter as well

pull the tank-remove pump-send tank out to be cleaned/tested-replace fuel pump assembly with new unit.Filter can be changed for about 40.00 bucks at any good oil/lube place (not walmart).fuel pump will run about 410.00 (parts only).
