I HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT THE TIME AND DRIVE BELTS NEED TO BE REPLACED FOR 400. DOLLARS. THE CAR HAS ONLY 19,000 MILES. IT SITS FOR SIX MONTHS EVERY YEAR. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS NESCESSARY

The belts have a time limit as well as a mileage limit. It has been 8 years over the time limit for all the belts. And if they are doing the timing belt with all the others for $400 that isn't a bad price.

I did it myself in an hour and a half for 35 bucks. It's easy and quick only a few tools are needed and some time. Rubber does Degrade so the belts do need replacing but unless your hearing a squeel of some sort I wouldn't worry about it.

If you did the timing and drive belts in 1.5 hrs you are the MAN!! just the Timing belt is about 3 hours minimum.
