how much is an ignition coil and how hard is it to replace?

  Your engine has one coil per cylinder the front ignition coils are under a plastic cover but are simple to replace a diagnostic code stored in your car's on board computer should identify which cylinder is misfiring. The coils are typically under $100 each and take about .5 hour to change and then the Check Engine Light needs to be reset.
