Replacement cost of the ball joints on 2001 Lincoln LS

Is the wheel bearing the same part as the ball joins, and if not, what is the cost to have the ball joints replaced in the front

The wheel bearing is not the same as the ball joints. The Estimator tool does not list ball joints, unfortunately. The lower ball joints are part of the steering knuckle assembly, which is really expensive. The upper ball joints are part of the upper control arm assembly. Figure each steering knuckle is about $650 installed. Each upper control arm is about $310 installed. A good wheel alignment is necessary after replacing any of those components. What is the problem with the car? Have you verified the ball joints are loose or worn? I can say it's not that common for this car.

well my 2001 lincoln front lower ball joint nut fell off and the ball joint was bad anyways so i had to replace it and i got y replacement from oriley auot parts for 65 dollars ! i did all the work myself so im sure i saved a bundle on the cost that way . the i also replaced the wheel bearing and paid about 150 for that part !
