Question: Replaced the module with a new factory one.

 Rookie

Volvo did a diagnostic scan and came up with 0070 --- which signals the pump motor needs to be replaced. They will not use my brand new factory abs module when doing the replacement but say the whole unit has to be done. Any ideas out there?? thanks

    I don't know if there's new information I'm not aware of, but when I worked on these, we replaced just the module. You are the customer and they should replace exactly what you request, or take it elsewhere. Be sure to find a good European shop, or another Volvo Dealership.
