After replacing everything except the calipers and having to pull rear axles to get shields on the rear brakes lock up without putting brakes on going very slowly. ???
replaced rear brakes, rotors and backing plates on 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500
Maybe you left the top on the master cylinder or you have overfilled the master cylinder and you have pressure in system after collapsing the pistons for new pad clearance.? Are you sure the rotor hat heigth is the same? Almost need to be fly on the wall and look over your shoulder to verify all is good. Not doubting your mech ability just unsure why all was replaced to begin with. Maybe a bit more detail would help us help you? Try bleeding system and see what happens.
