Did your code give a cylinder number? or what is the code number you are getting? camshaft sensor would cause random misfires to all cylinders no just one. check the ignition coil and plug for the cylinder that is misfiring, could also be fuel injector or low compression.

Does the misfire occure now that you replaced the part? You may have possibly received a bad Camshaft Position Sensor. This is not common at the dealer but is much more common when purchasing parts from aftermarket companies.

Misfire seems to be all cylinders and we bought the camshaft position sensor from the dealer wondering if you have to program the new sensor into the car after a new one is installed?
