2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Question: Replaced battery, now it won't start. No power to dash or ignition.

Headlights work. Tried a few ways of resetting the anti-theft, and still nothing.

    TEST ALL fuses starting from where battery cable hooks into fuse box. Check VOLTAGE while you're at it.

    Thank you for your quick response. I've already done that. Any other ideas? We arced the starter and it would start over and over but would die right away every time.

    You can jump the starter , so you have voltage at that cable end. You say no power to dash or ignition...Where does the voltage STOP at? Fuse box? Test for VOLTAGE at fuses under dash. You need to find out how far the circuit is complete. Find harness connector for ignition switch and test for voltage there.
